Game 1- 6-30 (lost)

Game 2- 0-20 (won)

The Wolfpack Pee Wee team came out Saturday, not just ready to play, but determined to win. In only the 2nd play of the game, #16 Tanner Mattson had a great run, which set up the Wolfpack team for a touchdown in the next play. A pass from #13 Trevor Miller to #21 Doug Swanitz gave the Pee Wee team their first touchdown of the season.
A repeat performance on the team’s 2nd possession started with a great run by #21 Swanitz on the opposing team’s punt. Thanks to #16 Mattson, the Pee Wees scored another TD, with the score now at 12-0.
The 3rd quarter brought another touchdown by #16 Mattson for the Pee Wee team, with the extra point being capped off with a pass from #13 Miller to #25 Benson, helping to secure the 19-0 win.
The Wolfpack defense impressed the crowd with a great pass defense and hard tackling throughout the game, keeping the opponent scoreless. And the offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage, winning the battle of the trenches which allowed the offense to move at will.


Game 3- 41-13 (lost)

The Wolfpack Pee Wee’s faced a tough opponent in the Firebirds. During the first half, the Pee Wee team held their own when an interception and touchdown by #16 Mattson brought the score to 7-6. The Firebirds returned the favor quickly with a touchdown on the punt return, leaving the score at 13-6. The 2nd quarter ended with the score at 13-12, after #21 Swanitz caught a long pass from #13 Miller and brought it in for a touchdown.
The 2nd half was tough on the Pee Wee team, with no additional points scored in the game. The 3rd quarter ended with the Firebirds well ahead of the Wolfpack. During the 4th quarter, #21 Swantiz caught several passes from #13 Miller that kept the ball moving forward and the game ended with a great catch by #72 Villegas, but was tackled just shy of a first down.


Game 4- 34-12 (win)

The Wolfpack Pee Wee team showed great improvement in game 4 against the Titans. The first quarter started strong with a great catch by #5 Haney to bring the offensive within 30 yards of the end zone. #16 Mattson completed a pass by quarterback #13 Miller for our first touchdown of the game. #25 Benson caught the pass for the extra point, giving the Wolfpack a 7-0 lead.
The defense pushed the Titan offense back in the first half with several sacks, thanks to the efforts of #50 Johnson and #77 Garzon. The defensive line, lead by #40 Weber, #77 Garzon, #25 Benson, #50 Johnson, and #72 Villegas, showed a strong effort throughout the game and did a great job pressuring the Titan quarterback.
A second Wolfpack touchdown came with a handoff by #13 Miller to #21 Swanitz. And the first half ended with a great run by #72 Villegas on a Titan punt.
The 2nd half began with a quarterback sneak into the end zone by #13 Miller. And the Wolfpack continued the defeat of the Titans with 2 more touchdowns by #16 Mattson and #21 Swanitz.


Game 5- 6-12 (lost)

The Wolfpack Pee Wee team fought hard against the Thunder, but is wasn’t quite enough for a win in game 5. The first quarter started off with a good run by #21 Swanitz on the kick-off to begin their first possession on the 50 yardline. Unfortunately, the Thunder intercepted the ball, leaving the Wolfpack scoreless in the first quarter. During the first possession by the Thunder, #77 Garzon sacked their quarterback, holding back the Thunder offense.
The 2nd quarter started with a hand-off from quarterback Miller to #21 Swanitz for a great run to the Thunder 30 yardline, but was unfortunately called back due to a penalty. Later in the quarter, the Thunder scored their first TD, but the extra point was stopped by #35 Rice, leaving the score at half, 0-6.
The Wolfpack fought back after the half and tied the score with a touchdown by #72 Villegas. The Thunder rebounded with a 2nd game touchdown, but dropped the ball on the extra point and the fumble was recovered by #77 Garzon.
#21 Swantiz gave the Wolfpack good yardage in the 4th quarter with hope for a second touchdown, but the game ended with a 6-12 score and a win by the Thunder.


Game 6- 34-0 (won)

The Wolfpack Pee Wee team put out any fire the Heat sent their way at last Saturday’s game. With the final score at 33-0, the Wolfpack came together as a team and fought a great battle both offensively and defensively.
The defense never let up on the Heat. From a first quarter fumble recovery by #13 Miller, to several sacks by #50 Johnson and #44 McAfee, the defense was an aggressive force throughout the game.
The offensive showed great depth with 5 players in the end zone throughout the game. The first touchdown came quickly in the first quarter by #21 Swanitz. Another TD soon followed with a hand-off by #13 Miller to #21 Swanitz, with the extra point made by #5 Haney. #72 Villegas gave the team a 20-0 lead at the end of the first half with a great catch and run into the end zone.
The Wolfpack didn’t let up a bit in the 2nd half while they continued to dominate the Heat. The 4th TD of the day was set up by great offensive line blocking to allow #21 Swantiz to get through the holes and get to the Heat 40 yardline. The next touchdown by #16 Mattson brought the score to 26-0.
The final touchdown of the game came from a QB sneak by #13 Miller and the extra point pass caught by #38 Pierce, leaving the final score at 33-0.


Game 7- 38-0 (won)

Injured player Elijah MacAfee said it best throughout Saturdays game; “You got to want it more, Wolfpack!”. The Wolfpack Pee Wee team did want it more and showed it throughout the game against the Chargers, earning a spot in the play-offs and shutting-out their opponent.
The Wolfpack defense didn’t waste any time and held the Chargers to no first downs on their first possession. In the second Charger possession, the defense forced a fumble with a recovery by #77 Garzon, setting up the Wolfpack for the first of many touchdowns of the game. #21 Swantiz ran the ball to the Charger 40 yardline, followed by another first down by #16 Mattson, then a touchdown by #21 Swanitz. The first quarter ended with the score 6-0.
The Wolfpack offensive continued building momentum in the 2nd quarter, with a hand-off to #21 Swanitz for their second touchdown.
Throughout the 2nd quarter, the Wolfpack defense kept the pressure on the Charger quarterback. Behind the line hits by #3 Stark and #77 Garzon kept the Chargers from scoring when they were within 10 yards of the endzone. Score at half- 12-0.
The Wolfpack showed their determination to win with a quick TD at the start of the 2nd half. A hand-off from #13 Miller to #21 Swanitz and great blocking by the offensive line opened up a hole for Swanitz to run 50 yards for the touchdown, giving the Wolfpack an 18-0 lead. The Chargers fumbled on their first possession, with the fumble recovery by #3 Stark.
Another Swantiz touchdown quickly followed and the extra point pass was caught by #72 Villegas. Score- 25-0.
The Wolfpack Defensive gave nothing to the Chargers. #27 Zamorano sacked their QB on a 4th down play, setting up the Wolfpck offensive for their next TD; a QB sneak by #13 Miller into the endzone and the extra point catch by #21 Swanitz. Score- 32-0.
Again, the defense regained the ball for the Wolfpack with an interception by #25 Benson. The final touchdown of the day by #72 Villegas ended the game at 38-0 and a trip to the play-offs.
